Nagarjuna in the remake of Om Shanti Om

Nagarjuna, who is busy shooting for King starring Trisha, will soon star in the remake of the hit Hindi film Om Shanthi Om (OSO). The film will start shooting once Nagarjuna is free from his current assignment King. This is the first time that Nagarjuna is acting opposite Trisha. King, directed by the inimitable Srinu Vaitla, is expected to be released in December in time for the New Year festivities.

A well known producer-director is said to have acquired the remake rights of OSO and is keen that only Nagarjuna reprise the role played by Shahrukh Khan. The search is on for a suitable heroine to play Deepika Padukone's role. The producer would naturally prefer Deepika for the role and is said to have approached her.
